Fast, Discreet UTI Treatment
in Belfast
No GP Appointment Needed
If you think you have a urinary tract infection, you don't need to wait for a GP appointment. Call in to McGettigan's Pharmacy on Springfield Road and speak directly with one of our experienced pharmacists — we can assess your symptoms and, where appropriate, provide treatment the same day.
What is a Urinary Tract Infection?
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common bacterial infection that affects the bladder, urethra, or kidneys. UTIs are particularly common in women, though anyone can be affected at any age. Most UTIs are lower urinary tract infections, affecting the bladder and urethra.
If caught early, a UTI can usually be treated quickly and effectively.
As part of the Pharmacy First programme, our pharmacists can assess your symptoms, confirm whether a UTI is likely, and — where appropriate — provide treatment without the need for a GP appointment. This service is available to women aged 16 to 64.
